IT'S A NEW DAY IN THE VALLEY!


We've been reading about Blogs and thought this might just be one bandwagon worth trying. Lesley is hopeless with technology and Brad is too busy for farting around with this stuff, especially now that bike season has started. But hey why not give it a go and see if we can keep in touch with those that are far away or close but at home on baby duty. If anyone can help us please feel free to come over, have a beer and show us the ropes.

Back to Brad being busy with the bike, yes the Uxbridge Ice Breaker was on March 25th, 2006. He placed 5th in his "somewhat old-man" (40-49) category. It was the 15th year of that race.. I found a picture of Brad and Bruce doing the Icebreaker in '96 so this has been at least Brad's tenth anniversary for doing this misery. There indeed was ice on the trail and the new Specialized was covered in mud.

You may wonder if Lesley was there cheering Brad on. Of course not! She was having High Tea at the Elbow Beach Resort in Bermuda with her buddy Christine and some of her girlfriends.

So how do you like the cottage in Bermuda? This is where Christine is staying this winter. Pretty sweet. This is the view from her front door. Life in Bermuda looks pretty good especially when it is cold and brown around here. Besides trying to stalk Micheal Douglas and his lovely wife and drink Rum Swizzles, I had a really good reason to go to Bermuda. Brad and I have have decided to start being nice to all of our friends' children. We may need them to look after us when we get too old to winter in Miami. Here is a picture of me making nice with one potential care taker.

This is Lily at 6 months. She was a fabulous companion on my shopping excursion for diamond earrings and a pint at the Hog Penny. Lily is one of the few babies that doesn't cry when she sees me. We are off to a good start.

This weekend is the Paris to Ancaster Race. Be sure to check the results on Monday April 10th to see if Brad makes top 100 or gets left at the side of the road crying.

I'm going to post this and see if it works. If it sucks I don't want to hear about it unless you can come over and help me. If I can figure out how to let people post comments then please provide your praise in spades.
