A Mississauga Landmark Comes Down

On Monday June 12, 2006 at approximately 7:30 a.m. the sirens sounded. There was a moment of silence and then the most easterly of the 4 stacks at the Lakeview generating station started toppling over. The other 3 fell like dominoes within seconds. It was all eerily fast and quiet. It almost seemed anti-climatical.
