Ladies Weekend 2007

The ladies converge on TO

For the past 3 years (ever since a certain mother had a milestone birthday), the ladies of the family have gone away for a little shopping and eating. Now that my niece is working and done with the school she was able to join us. Sadly this year my Aunt Edna was not with us but I know she was looking down on us and having a good chuckle. Her dear friend Mary joined us this year which made it special. And really Mary is part of the family since she came to the "blood and non-blood family reunion" organized by Holly for last summer.

We descended on the Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto. We visited the Emily Carr exhibit at the AGO as our one cultural event. The rest of the weekend was devoted to drinking, eating and shopping.
